Testimonials

We receive many letters from the families we've served, thanking us for our caring ways during their time of loss. Their words warm our hearts, and speak to you of our professionalism, compassion, and the true value of the services we provide.

Frank Gatto, & Staff: We would like to thank you very much for your wonderful services at the funeral home, when our son Michael passed away on Feb. 9, 2020. It is still, and it was such a devastating time in our lives. You and your professional staff really helped our family to get through this trying time. We sincerely appreciate everything that you did for our son, and for the family. The plans that were made fit our needs. The tapestry was absolutely beautiful and the prayer cards depicted the "Footprints" poem that Michael really loved. Thank you for the sign in book, and everything including the phone calls to see how we were doing. Your funeral staff is commended warmly for an "ACE" cremation and thoughtfulness and caring that went into the viewing. Thank you again.

Frank and assistants, Last Friday when I walked into the Abbey for Mrs. Z’s viewing and funeral, I knew immediately that it would be handled gracefully because of the family. Primarily, the Zagarella family is very special and attention to detail is extremely important to them. Fr. John, and his family, gave Lee a fitting and elegant send off to heaven. Regarding your skilled expertise and employees: Your professionally dressed staff (wearing grey 3/4 jackets and white gloves) looked less ominous than most who escort the deceased and his/her family. Your vehicles were different as well. Lee was dressed and groomed professionally and I knew her family was very pleased. The laminated prayer cards, programs and tapestry of Joe and Lee were handled with care. You, personally, showed me the inscription on the casket, and, explained the angels were to be a keepsake for the Z’s. Thank you for providing a positive experience for our last glimpse of Lee. In addition, the cemetery service was pleasant and efficient. I understand that the cover for the stainless steel casket was also a work of art. God bless you, Frank. Marita Parthemore

Frank I can never thank you enough for all that you did after my son Robert passed away recently. Your kindness was overwhelming and it was so comforting to know that regardless of what was going on that I could reach out to you. You maintained contact with me to let me know where my son was during the entire process. I realize that we are family, but your generosity at this time went beyond just family and your gift of the memorial blanket will always be treasured. Sincerely

Frank you have been a godsend to us from the time we called you on our way into the city on Sunday night. We will never be able to thank you for you being you and being there every day since then where it be through a phone call, an email, text message or other communication. It has brought so much comfort into our lives knowing that you are taking care of our Robert. ? You may be family but I don't believe that it why you are the way you are. You are a good person.

The passing of a loved one is definitely a time when the care and comfort of others is so important. Primary among those people to whom we look for that special care are those we entrust with preparing our loved one for funeral services and burial. Last week, my sister, brother and I lost our Mother. It was and still is a difficult time for us. We wanted only the best for our Mother as we prepared to lay her to rest. I believe we got what we asked for...the best. Frank R. Gatto and his staff were always kind, caring, courteous and professional. They took great care of me and my family and all those who came to the services. But most of all, Frank and his staff took care of our Mother. She looked beautiful. Everything was as we had hoped, to the last detail. Our Mother was handled with respect and care, and for all of that we, my siblings and I, are extremely grateful. I have to say that this care began at the start with our initial meeting with Frank to plan our Mother's funeral. He was extremely thorough, always listening to us, and finding those particular items that seemed to most fit what we needed or wanted: everything from the right casket to the right prayer cards to the appropriate cemetery vault to those special touches that would make our Mother's funeral special and unique. When the day of our Mother's funeral arrived, we were comforted and relieved knowing we were in good hands with Frank R. Gatto and his staff. We literally worried about nothing but making sure we greeted everyone who came to pay their respects. We truly had all we could haved asked for at a time when it matters most. I highly recommend Frank R. Gatto Funeral Home when the time comes to prepare the funeral services for your loved one! Like me and my family, you will be in good and capable hands.
