George "Gee" Becker

June 14, 1958 - April 12, 2020

George R. Becker “Gee”, of Gloucester City, New Jersey. Peacefully passed away on April 12, 2020 at his residence with his loving family by his side. Born in Camden, New Jersey to Harold and Ruth (nee: Brown) and also was raised there. He was a former employee with the welding fabrication company Eastern Machinist. He will be remembered as a very direct thinking, and straightforward person who was passionate about everything he did and thought. George enjoyed spending his free time in the outdoors especially hunting and fishing in the Pine Lands. Most of all he loved the time he spent with his wife and children canoeing and camping. Also, he was a gun enthusiast. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Harold Becker and Ruth Becker. George is the beloved husband of 39 years to Kathleen (nee: Brown), “The Love of His Life”. Devoted father of Anthony Gellura, Kathleen (Glenn Miller) Becker, George Becker and Tommy Becker. Proud grandfather of Chelsy, Isabella, Jeremiah, Cassidy, Anthony Jr., Armani, Callie and Aryana. Dearest brother of Lee (Heidi) Becker, Deb (Tom) Marcheski, Alberta Pestel, Patty (Bill) Draton, Tom (Jen) Becker, Danny Becker and Midge (Late Dalton) Sexton. Also, he will be sadly missed by brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be announced at a later date.
